• Customer Reviews: Your name, broad town/area, service installed, star rating, and review comments if you choose to submit a testimonial via our review form.
• Technical Security Logs: Anonymised IP rate-limiting timestamps strictly used to protect our website forms against automated spam and malicious requests.

3. How & Why We Use Your Data (Lawful Basis)

• Pre-Contractual Steps & Contract Performance (Article 6(1)(b)): To assess your property, prepare satellite CAD roof layouts, provide your survey quotation, and carry out your installation.

Where an installation proceeds, relevant property and technical data is shared strictly with statutory and regulatory bodies required to certify your system:

• NAPIT & Local Authority Building Control: For Part P Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and Building Regulations Compliance Certificates.
• Certification & Insurance-Backed Warranty Providers: To register installation certificates and manufacturer warranties for your Solar PV and Battery Storage system.
• Distribution Network Operators (DNO): To register G98/G99 grid connection notifications for Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Chargers.

5. Postcode Lookup & Cookies

Our website uses zero third-party advertising trackers or invasive marketing cookies. When you verify coverage using our postcode tool, the outward postcode is checked against the public UK api.postcodes.io service solely to confirm your local administrative district. A progressive web app service worker (sw.js) caches static stylesheets and icons locally on your browser to speed up page loading.

If you request a survey or quote and choose not to proceed, your enquiry details are retained for up to 12 months in case you wish to revisit your quotation, or deleted immediately upon your request. Where we carry out certified electrical or renewable work at your property, statutory test certificates, DNO approvals, and warranty records are retained for up to 10 years in accordance with UK electrical safety and warranty compliance standards.
